How to Animate a Story Using Artificial Intelligence

truth-telling. It’s for those who want to

Are replays included?
Yes. Replays of each live session will be shared within 48 hours and will remain available for 60 days. This gives you time to rewatch, reflect, and complete your assignments at your own pace.
Do I need to be “techy” to join?
Not at all. This lab is designed for Black women with no prior experience in animation, design, or AI. If you can use Google Docs or PowerPoint, you can do this.
Is this just for creatives?
No. This is for educators, coaches, activists, survivors, artists, and anyone who has a story to tell. Whether it’s a digital testimony, a healing narrative, or an animated legacy — your story belongs here.
Can I take both the Animation and Documentary tracks?
Yes. You can register for both via our All-in-One Track. You’ll create two separate 2-minute stories: one animated and one documentary-style over the full programme.
Will I get help during the sessions?
Yes. Sessions are live, interactive, and include feedback, demonstrations, and Q&A time. You’ll also get homework prompts, reflection points, and suggested checkpoints between classes.
Are there additional software costs?
Yes. AI tools evolve quickly, and some require monthly subscriptions. Please budget approximately $80/month to access the platforms used during the lab. You’ll be guided step-by-step through setup and usage during class.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available for both the Single Track (£167/month) and the All-in-One Track (£334/month) options.

Is this course refundable?
No. Due to the limited size, live nature, and creative depth of this programme, all payments are final. Please enrol only if you’re ready to fully commit.
Will I get a certificate or portfolio piece?
You’ll leave with a completed, professional-grade 2-minute AI story (either animated or documentary). This can be used as part of your portfolio, archive, or public project.
